Break Old Habits

It can be difficult to maintain the habits we know, deep down, are aligned with our higher self. The part of us that already understands how we’re meant to live—how we’re meant to nourish our bodies, move our energy and connect with purpose. This inner wisdom, the voice of our higher self, is always nudging us, whispering guidance. However, we often find ourselves slipping back into old, familiar patterns. This often leaves us feeling discouraged and frustrated.

Especially when life gets busy or stress levels rise, there tends to be a pull toward old behaviors. Our nervous system, under stress, is not looking for new ways of being—it’s looking for safety. And the old programs, even when they no longer serve us, often provide a kind of comfort.

When we are overwhelmed, we find ourselves reaching for habits we thought we’d outgrown, not because we’re weak or lazy, but because our subconscious mind is in the driver’s seat. As much as we set goals and talk ourselves into new behaviors, if the inner programming hasn’t changed, it can feel like we’re running in place.

Change is absolutely possible. It starts by trusting the inner guidance. To shift these old patterns, our opportunity is to go deeper where these patterns were first formed, in the subconscious mind— where we get to the root of the issue.

Hypnosis is one powerful way to understand these feedback loops from our subconscious mind. We have to bypass the mental chatter, and the deepened mediation practice quiets the conscious mind, allowing us to explore and reprogram.

We can also work with energy healing tools like Applied Shamanism, which works at the energetic level to cleanse and create space for new energetic pathways to emerge. These methods speak to the soul and body, not just the mind’s intellect.

If you’re feeling called to shift your energy and break old habits, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to walk with you and support you in reclaiming your power— reach out when you’re ready.
